Celtic FC

First stop in Glasgow? Paradise of course! Known to most as Celtic Park, home to the Celtic FC. Celtic Park is also home to a Celtics merchandise shop, featuring everything from Celtic toasters to sock suspenders. After
picking up a few purchases, including Liam's custom made Celtic Jersey, we headed over to the field for a tour.

The stadium was surprisingly honest and open, with none of the excess that our North American facilities have. We were allowed into the home dressing room (which has been unheard of in any other sports facility we've visited). The home dressing room was modest, with no names on the lockers, and virtually no team logos. No hot tubs, ice baths or massage tables. As our tour guide explained, "these guys come here to work, not go to a spa!" The luxury box was very un "North American" too, and involved several flights of stairs and some dodgy corridors. It's a good thing Beckham was with ManU because Posh wouldn't have survived to hike to the Celtics VIP box! All in all an awesome tour, made especially amazing by walking the tunnel out to the field and sitting in the Celtics dugout. Hope you enjoy todays pics, more to follow tomorrow when we train to Edinburgh.
