The Trouble with Jet Lag

Having trouble with jet lag upon our arrival in Glasgow, Tara and I discussed our options:

(a) The way I was taught to overcome jetlag was to attack it by staying up, and push through until exhausted. Negative side effect: wifely grumpy-ness.

(b) Force yourself to sleep and try to wake up at the appropriate time in your new timezone. Negative side effects: oversleeping to the point of grogginess or waking up inappropriately early in your new time zone (like 2 a.m.)

When given these options my wife gazed at me with tired eyes and stated "In my world there's no such thing as oversleeping".  You can guess which of the above mention options we decided in favour of!  Needless to say, she slept like a champ, 13 hours, no problem!
